A new free business programme launches in Hackney this week to help local businesses grow. The Allia Serious Impact “Grow Your Business” programme is aimed at any business thinking about its next steps or struggling to find expert advice and support to help it develop. The business can be in any sector and any size from 2 to 50 people, as long it is based in or around Hackney and wants to grow. The “Grow Your Business” programme runs here at the Allia Future Business Centre in Hackney.

Exclusively created to help local business grow, the new “Grow Your Business” programme starts in November 2017 and runs until February 2018, pausing for most of December to allow for the busy Christmas period. Importantly they have also been designed to fit around the working day of busy business owners with evening workshops twice a week for one to two hours plus individual sessions with mentors at a time that suits each business.

The programme content is designed to cover, marketing, sales, operations, finance, teams and community.

Topics include:

• Getting the word out and the customers in
• Making sure your service delights your customers
• Hiring and looking after great employees
• Deciding what paths to take in the future
• Growing a local presence
• Organising yourself to do business better
• Finance – opportunities available to you
